About the Presenter:
I am an associate professor in radiation oncology and director of radiation oncology residency program, at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. I have extensive clinical experience with the treatment of various solid tumors including head and neck, lung, brain and gastrointestinal cancers, using IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, SRF, HDR and unsealed intrahepatic brachytherapy. Teaching radiation oncology residents and medical students represents a passion for me. I was granted with “American Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (AARRO) Teacher of the Year Award for Academic Year 2007-2008” and “2010-2011 AARRO Educator of the Year Award” for excellence in teaching, enthusiasm and support of radiation oncology residency training, at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, respectively.
